Do you accept 30 day returns, which includes change of mind returns, if so it is pretty standard for ebay not to release the funds, which will be refunded to the buyer once the return has been completed.

If you don't accept 30 day returns, then you can decline the return and the funds will be released to you, when the return closes.

Pending any other holds that may apply.

Had a buyer start a return a couple of days ago. I got a message from Ebay saying the funds would be on hold until the return is complete. I can't recall ever having funds on hold for a return before. It seems especially strange given the return reason is 'changed my mind'. Anyone else had this?

I do accept returns but this has been the case for many years. I've had dozens of returns over the years and I can't recall ever having the funds placed on hold once a return is started. It's not a big deal, I just though it was odd seeing I'd never experienced this before.
