So now that the dust has had time to settle on ebay's new 'enhanced & cheaper' postage labels, I'm just wondering how people are managing postage costs for parcels over 1 kg where you use your own packaging. TIA.

If I was to, it would be flat rate at AP's rural costs.

Thanks, Dave, and then refund city buyers the difference? The problem now (that never existed before they 'fixed' it) is cubing & zones.

I don't refund. Swings and roundabouts when fees are taken into account.

They purchase at a price they are happy with.

Yes, sometimes you win; sometimes you don't. It wasn't a problem until a few months ago:(

Over 1 kg is still the same as before except for the buyer gets the discount as well. So just add extra to the item price and it will be the same. It's only under 11 kg that has the issue with size.

From what I've found there seems to be a huge discrepancy between the new prices for over 1 kg than before. Sometimes it's way under, and sometimes it's way over. I'm talking about parcels using your own packaging.

I may have noticed that last year when I took advantage of their upgrade to express promotion. I think the item may have weighed just under 3kg but cubed slightly higher but still charged at 3kg.
