Notification problems with android app

Hello,
Just wandering if anybody has had any issue with regards to receiving notifications through the android app.

It seems whenever I do a software update on my phone, I don't get any notifications when I have sold something. All my settings don't change so therefore there should be no reason I don't get the notifications. I don't know if it is my phone (only happens with the Ebay app) or the app itself. It is frustrating because I have almost missed seeing when I have sold something. I am just an small seller who doesn't go into Ebay all the time. And yes, I do get the emails but I rely on the app.

I thought everyone gave up on the buggy eBay app many moons ago.

As for Android and app notifications in general, if you hold your finger down on the app icon then you can go into app info, then the notifications section to see what's on/off. Try toggling them to see if it makes a difference.
