Need help uploading 2 documents.

My account has been suspended. Ebay have requested proof of identity. Have spent the last 2 hours trying to upload these two documents.

Step 1. We accept files in .gif, .jpg, .png format. The size of each file cannot be more than 2MB.

OK! Both files are Jpeg and combined total about 1.5mb. I then select "Proof of Identity" All good.

Next step. Comments up to 1500 characters. (MANDATORY).

Ok, I wrote a few comments in the box provided.

Probably about 200 words because that is all I could think of.

I am all ready and click "Upload"

So that I can continue onto step2.

When I click the upload button files dissappear and no knowledge if it has been uploaded successully or not.

Finally, there is no step 2.

I kid you not.

No where is there a button to continue to step 2.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Do they give the option of faxing the documents?

Last time I had to confirm my identity I took the easy way and sent them by fax after finally getting a number that worked.

Whether they say 2MB or not, that is a large file. Change the jpg to png or gif and when saving choose 'low' and this will still be clear and only about 460kb.

If you plan on ever selling on ebay again you need to sort it out, one account banned all accounts banned

The account has not been banned.

Currently in suspended animation.

The other account at the moment is sailing along fine.

Problem being it was originally set up for my wife to sell things about 4 years ago.

When she nolonger had need for it and I did, silly me thought all I had to do was

change ID to a name that was more appropriate for what I was selling, add my bank details and presto!!!! Not on your nellie. I have had issues with PayPal, email account, bank account and of course Ebay. I only opened this account to try to start afresh and leave the dross behind even though I would be leaving !00% Feedback with the other account.

Am wanting to open up a store. However, until I can get these issues resolved I am stuck in limbo.

My fault for being so naive.

Ebay has all the details.

Waiting for them to get back to me to advise me the best solution.

Hopefully it can all be resolved for me to move on.
