Well they're obviously scams.. Probably designed to get you to log in via a link in the email then they'll farm your details. I hope you didn't click anything in the email

Facebook also don't inform you when someone has unfriended you

I have also rec'd this message. I found it disturbing on many levels. Can you imagine a young insecure teenager receiving this? In an era where your popularity is judged by the number of friends you have and how many likes you get on your posts it could be quite demoralising.

I have also rec'd one advising me I have 11 people trying to find out more information. Many would fall for this con, think it is also part is the same scam trying to sell some program.

Funny, I de-activated my face book last year!

They've paid eBay to advertise on the pages. It's just like the 'you are the 9,999,999 visitor' and rubbish like that.

That does not always work Putney.

I have always had AdBlocker on but now I am getting that 1,000,000th visitor as as well as the one about being unfriended by 3 people on face book. That was interesting as I don't even have 3 friends on facebook...I never use my account. It has been sitting there unused for 3 years, since I opened it to get in touch with a friend who had returned from overseas but forgot to give us his new phone number.
