Just having a feedback whinge sorry...

Hi all....

Feedback whinge here.. got a neutral because I didn't answer someone's email immediately, that day! I was busy - I work night shift...like 5 of them in a row...and I missed a day and didn't answer 1 emails/ qstn from a buyer. Uuurrrggghhh. I suppose you can't please everyone all of the time.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Whinge over. I feel better now LOL 🙂 Thanks!

Not exactly the same, but my postage time stars were marked down by a buyer whom received their package 3 days from purchase.

You can't please everyone. I wouldn't worry about it. You can't be on eBay 24/7, even if you wanted to be.

Now hang on, you are meant to reply before they even ask the question.

Buyers expect sellers to be there 24/7 for them.

Not sure if it is worth calling ebay and asking for it's removal.

Nothing to loose by trying or leave it there so other sellers can see what sort of buyer they are.

To call ebay click on Customer support in the top RH corner and then click on Contact ebay then hover your mouse over selling and then click on report a member then click on call us and you will be given the number and a code to enter on request.

In that case one of the sellers I recently purchased from should get a negative! I sent him a question on Sunday after I purchased and paid for an item - still haven't had a reply, nor have I received my item (he's just up the road):^O

I received 3 in the span of 24 hours (prdviously only had 2 in almost 1000 transactions!) makes me feel horrible and stop selling. I feel that other sellers after purchase hae a look at my feedback and decide a neutral may now be warranted!

I don't understand why, if you have done nothing wrong, anyone would get in such a state about less than perfect feedback, neutrals at that which 99.9999999% of buyers will not bother looking at especially if your feedback says 100%.

Firstly, I wouldn't say that the OP has worked themselves 'into a state'! Secondly, it is perfectly reasonable to be frustrated with neutral or negative feedback if a seller has done their best (or as close to it as possible) in ensuring a smooth transaction customer satisfaction, especially as it can diminish trust by potential buyers in the future.

I suspect the OP isn't going to be lying awake at night worrying about it though!

After reading post 4 & 5,it sounds to me like they are.

After reading the absolutely putrid POSITIVE feedback left for them on 5th March,I'd be doing more than lying awake worrying about it ie I'd be on to ebay so fast about that buyer their head would spin X-(

Hi-- I posted a parcel to a local neighbourhood--forgot to take off the blue sticker with tracking number. the NEXT day i had nasty e mail from buyer--where is the parcel( posted day of payment) and what is the sticker number--Obviously had got it and realised I couldn't check it with A Post as the number was still on it !!! BIG lesson learned !!

I would think the lesson you should learn is you are wasting money using those satchels when they do not qualify for Paypal protection when you could be using the ebay branded satchels through click & send at a cheaper cost with seller protection.
