Trouble with Sold Items listed on My Ebay page

Hi all,

Is anyone having trouble with the listing of their Sold Items on their My Ebay page.

For a while now, my sold items (intermittently) appear in Black rather than the normal Blue ink when the auction ends and they are transferred to the Sold Item section on my home page and I can't open them.

Its not such a terrible problem because I've discovered if I go to the ' View Order details' I can open them from there, but I can't work out what has happened.

Apparently, neither can eBay because I told them about it over a week ago and they still have not come up with any explanation or solution. They told me to clear my cache and cookies which I did, but it made no difference.

Anyone have the same problem or know how to overcome it?

Buying / Selling / etc..... that'll take you to next page with post new question option

Are you using Selling Manager? If not then try using it and see if that solves your problem, I have not experienced any problems on any of my selling ids.

I have had multiple problems with ebay over the last week or so so you aren't alone betty !

I have had ended listings remaining in active column, I've had my entire MY EBAY pages appearing completely empty of all info except for ebay's [all my lists were gone].

Since last night I have unistalled & reinstalled turbo lister 5 times from the AUSTRALIAN site & CANNOT get rid of american weights for calculated postage......live help [seller tools section] said they weren't trained to deal with the problem huh !

I have just gone in, for the first time ever, & listed directly from ebay.....found I couldn't blue over anything to underline, increase font/letter sizing etc...it has left my listing looking very Sterile !

I have wasted, yet another, 4 or 5 hours trying to get things to work on turbo lister & have just given up !

god knows what they are doing now in the background, but nothing seems to function very well anymore.

Actually after creating 3 [only] listings via ebay SELL I have found

1. It takes a LOT longer,

2. It is much more complicated & annoying

3. It is much harder to quickly EDIT anything.

4. If you cut & paste anything it won't allow you to blue it & then say increase size of font, underline it, change colour of font etc.

5. No idea how to do up a number of listings & NOT HAVE TO LIST THEM IMMEDIATELY.

Get turbo lister working properly again ebay, this is unbearable !!!!

hi, yes, I'm having the same problem, installed an update and suddenly all weights and dimensions are imperial instead of metric. HAve tired endless things but it won't budge. Also rang the help line but they are not trained to deal with turbo. REaaly pissed

fishwish, I've given up completely, this site has so many problems at the moment I'd rather GO FISHING or to Bricks & Mortar stores if I were a buyer !!!

I have downloaded & unistalled TL that many times I doubt I will have any memory space left on my computer soon.

And yes, nice to know the staff manning the Selling Tools section of 'contact us' are NOT trained to deal with our issues !!!

I did yesterday's update and my measurements are still metric.

Suitcase, when you reinstall are you doing a full version update before you try to use it? That can be an issue.

dave I've tried EVERYTHING ! I've checked options to make sure Selling Site is [grey] ticked Australia. I've checked everything I can possibly check. I've done Upload Full Version from the drop down where we do Check for Updates in TL.

If I get rid of postage & just place LOCAL PICK UP, then click on Calculated Post Kilos & Grams come up UNTIL I put in measurents & weight.....it immediately clicks over to lbs & ozs.

I've totally unistalled it now, can't get on with anything to do with listings, not using SELL on the ebay site, too annoying !! I'm thoroughly exhausted by it all - & I have to care for my mum in between trying to figure all this crap out !

I'm thinking of going in & deleting EVERYTHING on my computer regarding ebay but am worried it will affect my current listings. So may wait till these are finished [& not be able to list anything else until they are] then delete EVERYTHING in my files & start again.

Interesting that all these hassles people are experiencing are at the EXACT same time that all these FREE LISTINGS are being handed out !

Other solutions I have tried also include Create a New User & retaining my suitcase ID, nope, I've deleted every listing I had ready, I've deleted all templates,. I've tried it all & NOTHING stops it reverting to the AMERICAN weights.

And what hope have we got of solving it when the ebay staff admit to not being trained to provide us with any answers or solutions !!!

The only other suggestion I have is to go to the US boards and ask there. There are a lot of very experienced users over there, I believe.

My apologies, suitcase. After yesterday's MANDATORY update, it appears all my weights and measurements are Imperial also.

So that part, at least, is the usual eBay breaking things that don't need fixing.

Admittedly it doesn't affect me as all my 'calculated' postage is C&S satchels, so I can put anything in those fields. As long as I put something in those fields.

Hi dave,

thanks for verifying fishwish's & my problems here.

I just clicked on the Download Turbo Lister Tool again on here, australia, again it opens a new tab & up comes ebay.com so it is loadings straight from the US site, & even though we have Australia ticked [it is greyed out, couldn't change it if we wanted to] we are stuck with US postage weights.

Perhaps ebay australia are trying to push sellers off turbo lister ?

update on turbo lister......after viewing the download page I decided to fill in the Suggestions box & lo & behold received this reply

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to Turbo Lister.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience due to this. While you would have the Australian version of the program, unfortunately there is a current issue in the program causing eBay Australia listings to show lbs and ozs instead of kilos and grams when listing with calculated shipping. The developers are aware of this and working to get this corrected as quickly as possible. We do hope to have this corrected soon. I appreciate your patience with this in the meantime.
