Hi I just tried using Turbo lister for the first time. I can't really see the advantage to it at the moment. It is painfully slow. I know it will take some time to get used to it and I'm not great with computers, but is it always this slow, particularly with uploading photos?

I find it quicker than the SYI form. And easier. Depending on the time of day, it can take a little while for a listing to upload. I just go and do something else while I'm waiting.

A few tips if you haven't already done them.

Do an 'Install Full Version Update' as what you download initially is not. It's under tools. Also do regular backups and checks for updates. There seem to be about one a day.

Set up templates for your common items, postage, terms, etc. Then you only have to fill in the gaps.

Thanks for your reply. I am doing it now. I don't know but it may have been a bit my computer being slow for some reason but it took me about 2 hours and a lot of banging my head on the desk to do 2 listings!!!

If your photos are taking a long time to load then it may be because the file size is too large, I find it quicker adding photos using TL than using the SYI ebay form.

There's two main reasons I like Turbo Lister, brucbern:

1. I can get all my listings ready, then upload them all at the time I want the listing to start (and end).

2. TL allows me to relist items which are older than 60days.

Once you get the hang of it, and get to know its quirks, it will be much quicker.

The other important thing (apart from Templates, which are THE most important thing) is to set it so that it checks for updates when you OPEN IT, not after you attempt to list.

That way, you won't get the listings done and then they get rejected because the categories are incorrect or whatever.

Go to Tools > Options > Advanced (down the end of the list from memory) and find the setting
