Sellers Please Note - Pick up Location??????????

Hi Sellers, when you list an item on Ebay (for pick up only) can you please put where the exact pick up location is (ie) Suburb? (not a City)

Do not put 'Melbourne' as the 'item location' as this could be anywhere within hundreds of klm's and waste everyone's time.

Some of us put in a suggestion to have a postcode box that needs to be filled in next to Pick up only selection in the listing. More members suggesting the same may see some action.

Also anyone looking to narrow item location, it is now under More refinements after a search, then item location. There, appears the distance from your postcode selection. I believe it uses ebay account addresses to narrow and I find it quite accurate.

Fully agree -especially now I keep getting bounced to the US ebay and find I am looking at things thousands of kms away. Also Ebay itself does not seem to have much idea of distance. Was looking yesterday and it told me it was 5 kms from my postcode. Never heard of the place so looked it up on Sensis - 5 HOURS drive away !! Lost interest after that !! Have often had to contact seller to find out where in Melbourne - seems to be mainly new sellers - could put a box beside pickup only when they list and not go further until it has been filled in.
