Free postage....except

Hi all, Im relatively new to eBay, my question is this:

I am in the process of creating some listing templates prior to going active, my little dilemma is, I want to list all items as free postage (only shipping within Australia) but there are certain area's i.e. NT that I would like to add an additional cost of say $15, Regonal $10 and WA $10.

Is there a way to automate this for specified post codes or areas so that one invoice goes out with the additional added rather than just putting txt on my listing stating this, as the payment may not be correct if I just ask the purchaser to add the additional monies.

Or is it a case of requesting further payment via paypal?

Sorry there is no way you can do that. You cannot ask for more postage than is quoted in the postage area.

If items are under 500g or are going in prepaid satchels/boxes then they will cost the same anyway, if they are over you can use calculated postage which will give the correct cost to each destination and you can reduce the item price by the amount you were allowing to cover the free postage.

If your items suit Click & Send ( satchels and boxes ) then the costs would be the same throughout AU .

You can't do that anyway within Australia. If you offer free postage you can't add a cost for postage for any reason.
