    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I run two accounts on Ebay... I have no problems with buyers and my business acct but selling through my personal account seems to open a whole can of worms!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've sold some clothes... they buyer wanted to pay in a weeks time and I said very nicely through an email that payment was due within 3 days and I would give them another 2 days to pay. (too many people aren't paying me at the moment). Wished them a nice day etc...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyhoo.. payment came through today - I left positive feeback... then she wrote "I am appalled at how rude this seller is. Never again."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't really want to send the item as I'm sure she is going to complain about something... can I just refund the item through paypal straight away and block her and be done with it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;cheers&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sarah&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If she has paid, I would be inclined to post the item, then block her from further purchases with you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, you have the right of reply to her feedback. Give a&amp;nbsp;polite, factual reply to explain what happened. It can be a challenge doing it in 80 characters allowed, but it can be done.&lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://community.ebay.com.au/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.png" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;try ringing ebay first, stress to ebay it was retalitory negative feedback and you may have it removed. dont delete any messages so ebay can read them. dont post till you talk to ebay.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's definately not nice when people leave negative feedback as it's not always a true reflection on you or your business. Some buyers tend to do it out of spite (as its a powerful ammunition). Us sellers dont have any ammo when it comes to leaving feedback as we can only leave positive.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What works for me, allow the buyers to leave feedback first. If there is an issue with the item or anything else they will contact you and its so much easier to resolve and you'll most likely obtain positive feedback.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you want to remove the negative feedback, best to speak with Ebay. Vary raely would they have it removed though, however its worth a try..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As the buyer has already paid, in this instance they are happy for you to ship this item.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you expenience people who dont pay, just send them an email like you did and request payment if they don't pay I believe after 4 days you can cancel the transaction and ebay will refund you your fees. This way you can relist and your not loosing out on anything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wish you all the very best. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Negative feedback can be crippling. I too run 2 accounts ....1 for business and this one as private. We have just rec'd a negative feedback in our business account and I am sure it is some sort of set up.It is on our least expensive item and the feedback was personal &amp;nbsp;and not related to the item.Most upsetting, I have not replied as I have found that not responding for a day or two lets me be more diplomatic in reply.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think the negative is so hurtful because it is there everytime you go to your account. I know I have done nothing wrong and that some people really are nasty and even worse when they can be anonymous.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have had similar issues with requesting overdue payment and have had negative feedback in the same way as you have ....incredible that they actually attack because you have the nerve to ask for payment.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Send the goods and honour your side of the sale, they have aleady left a negative ....can't really get any worse.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It would have been a lot better to have just said OK as ebay give buyers eight days to pay anyway. If i were that buyer I would have been annoyed too, you can insist on payment within 4 days or you will open a dispute which gives them another 4 days but giving them a dressing down because they could not pay until near the end of the time ebay allow them was never going to be received well. If buyers peeve you off then think what you want and then put your customer service hat on and be at the very least diplomatic.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;eBay allow a buyer 8 days before they impose sanctions. Ergo, requiring payment before that time is pointless as it is unenforceable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't put any timeframe on my listings. As long as they pay within 5 days I send. If they don't I open a dispute, they generally pay and I send.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Never had a neg yet, so I must not be antagonising buyers too much.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I found that over 90% of my customers were choosing to pay with paypal. So I took off the bank deposit option and require immediate payment. Never a possiblitlity for a non payer ever again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If a buyer has not paid yet any feedback they leave can be removed by Ebay.&amp;nbsp; You just have to 'Report buyer' and Ebay remove any FB they have left automatically&lt;/P&gt;</description>

A mine of information.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have never left negative feedback, but I don't buy from people who have unrealistic T&amp;amp;Cs. Rang Ebay, made a complaint about the conduct of the buyer - and that was the end of the matter.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I don't really know why Ebay allows all that time to pay (we don't care as we are never in a hurry for payments), but &amp;nbsp;no other normal auction houses nor any stores nor anyone really lets people pay days later.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I don't know how anyone who depends on Ebay sales for a living goes with these extended times for payments.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;If it was me instead of you - I wouldn't send them anything at all - &amp;nbsp;tell them you are terminating any dealings and communication with them , and still get the neg removed.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Good luck for the future Ebaying!&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Personally, I would've happily&amp;nbsp;given the buyer the extension they asked for. Always better to get paid late, by a happy, grateful buyer, than never. I've been asked for an extension on several occasions (hard times, people) and it's usually been an opportunity to establish a good relationship with the buyer. If they bother contacting you to ask for more time, then clearly they want the item and have no intention of doing a runner. It's already hard enough for the average person to effectively beg for more time to pay; we can probably afford to give them a little leeway.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anyway, just my opinion. Feel free to yell and scream at me, too &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":winking_face:"&gt;😉&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
