It's supposed to be 7 days. So 1.01pm on day 7. Assuming you count the opening day as 0.

The same as opening and closing NPBs - as soon as the stated number of days (in seconds probably) have elapsed, you should be able to take action.

I understand that a buyer has 7 days to respond. However the option to recoup FVFs if no response is actually on the 8th day. Is this from 12:01am or exactly the 8th day time wise that the case was openned?

Example: Dispute openned 22nd August 1pm, option to take action and get back FVFs is actually 30 August 1pm (8 days exactly)?

Thanks for any feedback

No I don't think that's right. I always wait till day 7 to open an unpaid item dispute, it rides then for a few days, then the Final Value Fee refund icon appears beside. Some of mine have gone to day 14 (21), before it appears.

I currently have 4 cancelation requests and the 'take actuon' button definitely has not appeared. Had a Google search and some people say it is in fact the 8th day you can close them. 4 current disputes are more than 7 days now

Sorry about the typos. The oldest cancel request is now going into 7 days and 9hours since opening it therefore I really think it needs to be 7 days, 23 hrs , 59 mins , 59 seconds +1 second (ie 8 days) before you can finally close it.

Okay finally they appeared. There is a note when closing that the option to end communication is available on the 8th day. More like 7 days, 12 hours
