Gallery Plus issues

Hi has anyone else experienced issues with trying to use Gallery Plus.

When I have tried to use it I get the following error message pop up:

You can not submit your listing due to the following problems

Use of the Gallery Plus feature is restricted to sellers who have an established selling history and meet eBay’s seller performance standards. These are minimum eligibility guidelines and do not constitute automatic qualification for Gallery Plus feature. For more information please review eBay’s seller performance standards page and your seller dashboard.

I have good ratings and my seller performance is good so I contacted the customer support and was told that I am not eligible because I am already a seller with good ratings and this feature is reserved for new sellers only.

"If you have good ratings you can't use this feature. If you have low ratings and a new seller that's the time you can use the feature. "

This does not fit with the error message or with other peoples listings. I would ideally like to use this useful feature.

I then sent an email to customer support asking for futher clarification and got this message back

"I have check on your account and found that there is a gallery featured plus, The things here is that featured have already been removed so you can no longer avail for the gallery featured option."

I would really appreciate some real answers

Ah, yes, Customer Support that is never wrong.

I cannot select Gallery Plus on this ID. I get the same message. I use it on my other ID which has 400 odd selling FB over 3+ years.

I have no idea what the eligibility is, but it is certainly not what CS told you.

Gallery plus (and additional photos) use to cost additional fees to use, now they're free but the Gallery Plus option is restricted.

That's all I really know for sure, I've got no clue as to what level eBay allow you to be able to use it, but I have seen private sellers with less than 50 selling FB using the enlarge option. (I can on my other ID, but I have a decent amount of FB and a store. I'm not able to use it on this ID).

I thought that too, but I did a quick check and there are sellers without stores using it (the one I mentioned above had 44 FB, no store).

I give up then. I haven't sold anything on this ID, so that would tend to indicate something. And I still have selling restrictions. Maybe...

I have no idea as in over 12 years of selling I have never tried to use gallery plus, I certainly never pay for any extra listing features and as I have managed without it for so long won't bother to try it even if it now costs nothing.

i have had same issue. gallery plus is having technical issues according to ebay support - i contacted them earlier today. they said resolving the problem could take 24-48 hours. I wont hold my breath.

Honestly, really...for a technology company like yahoo, the amount of tech glitches is just too much...it stops us, their customers from selling and leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Its is very frustrating and right now this issue is costing me money.
