Cheap Australia Postage

A lot of the Aussi Seller sell items such as dog collars, tools for less than $4.00 including postage, how did they do that? Cheapest postage I found for the smallest parcel is at least 6.00, does anyone have any clue how they did it?

By sending them as large letters provided that they don't exceed 20mm in width.

They are possibly sending them as large letters or they are being sent from China where postage is extremely cheap.

they might even be absorbing some of the postage costs themselves, or offsetting them into their sale price to appear more attractive to potential buyers or to try and keep their postage price DSR's looking healthy. (or maybe they're just really nice)

I bought a woven dog collar on-line recently (not from eBay), with a heavy engraved tag, and it came in a DLsized business envelope with a 60cent stamp.
