Create informative ebook or CD

I was wondering is it legal to down load videoes from youtube about an subject, for example Forklift driving training and tips and write them on a CD or DVD or make a text file or PDF file about the subject and sell them on eBay?

I do appreciate to back up me with your knowlege and experience.

Yes, it is illegal...Or at least, I'm presuming that nothing uploaded to YouTube is in the public domain.

Content uploaded to the internet (YouTube or anywhere), is protected by copyright and you can't use it - especially for commercial gain - unless it is expressly released to the public domain, or has a Creative Commons license attached that grants certain permissions with a few conditions.
