can't register as a seller - ebay technical issues?

I've tried every option to register as a seller and ebay seems to have a fault.

I've tried listing my Paypal account, then 2 different credit cards, then my bank account and nothing ever sticks.

WHen I entered my bank account details it allowed me to check yes to authorise them and then took me to the credit card details screen. If I try the other options, I can't verify by phone as it will not accept either of my phone numbers and keeps saying 'We can't validate at this time'.

This is so frustrating; I'm about to give up and go to Gumtree!

Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any current technical issues?

give eBay a call and they can either walk you through the steps to get things set up or help to identify where the problem is happening.

I'd also try clearing cookies / cache, or a different browser, as often one or the other will solve site issues like this.

With your phone number, if it's a mobile - put 2 numbers in the 1st box & the rest in the 2nd box - that's what eBay told me to do.

are you perhaps trying to open an eBay STORE??

I dont think you have enough feedback yet to qualify for a store

I am trying to open ebay store and am having the same issues... How can I not be registered as a seller if I am already selling..? I get to where it asks me to sign in, which I do then it takes me back to my homepage and I have to start all over again.

I doubt that it is a technical thing as I have been trying to fix this problem for the last 3 months - maybe I need to have another look at the paypal end of things as you have..

so over it!
