resending invoice after payment is made

Help please on invoice paid but excluded postage.

Hi and thanks in advance.. I had an item listed for sale and asked potential buyer to request a postal quote before buying. Unfortunately, due to miscommunication, the buyer paid before they requested a postage quote. I have agreed to split the postage charge to assist with the oversight but am not sure how to issue a new invoice with the postage only component.

Can someone please assist?

For the buyer (in terms of protection issues), it would be better to refund and re-invoice with the postage added, but if those are not concerns then the easiest thing to do is generate an independent invoice via PayPal and send it to the email address associated with the original payment, or provide your bank details so that they can make a direct deposit.
