Hi Since eBay removed negative feedback for buyers years ago, there has been an increase in non paying bidders I have had 1 item I've had to relist 3 times because the buyers have been unresponsive.I think it would be a great idea if buyer's dont complete the transaction it shows up next to their profile how many unpaid strikes they have had.eBay is also losing out here not just the sellers..You could of sold your item to the lower bidder and they might of paid for it.instead you get these bidders that over bid others and never reply to your emails or pay for the item(s) they won.

Come on ebay add this feaure we understand you give bidders that don't pay unpaid strikes, but let it show in their public profile the same way we get public feedback from the buyers. What are we sellers to ebay silver ?? and buyers are gold..

Fair is fair.

Regards
Johnny

I agree but also have a further suggestion.

MAKE FEEDBACK COMPLETELY EQUAL

We only give negative feedback to those who deserve it.

eBay won't do that.they feel buyers are being intimidated by sellers to complete the transaction or the seller will give them bad feedback.been selling ebay since 2001 and this change they did years ago must be modified to what i wrote atleast.

agree totally.....enough is enough....bad enough ebay fees and paypal fees and time wasted relisting time and time again....where is the profit?....gone....sometimes i feel just giving up on ebay and get a second job....less hassle...

buyers can get away with giving bad feedback when u have bent over backwards to help them....yes there very nice buyers out there and are happy with what u have done for them....but there not many of them out there....

yes so Ebay hear what the selllers are saying do something about it.....since ebay is advertising on the TV i guess alot of sellers have just given up and either gone else where or just dont sell any more on Ebay because of all the **bleep** sellers go through....

I can understand the argument that sellers should not be allowed to leave negative feedback as previously it was abused by a small percentage of sellers. However, there needs to be some public record highlighting those buyers who abuse the system by not paying on a regular basis. The display of the number of unpaid item strikes on buyers feedback profile detailed over month, 3 moths and 12 months (like sellers feedback) would shame buyers into honouring their legal and moral obligations. The biggest problem I experience with non-paying customers is not only the dramatic increase in recent times, but the length of time the eBay resolution system keeps yout item for sale out of the market place and the resultant loss of sales potential. I was made aware of one new eBay buyer who had 6 unpaid items in one month and still had an active account, so the eBay claim that a certain number of unpaid item strikes against a buyer leads to suspension of the buyers account does not seem to work.

I too add my dissaproval of the current system. Why should we the sellers who pay ebay for the privelige of selling our goods on Ebay be the ones to suffer these parasites who are there for their own pleasure at our expense. I most strongly protest the treatment sellers get because of these ( nice people).

We cant even see that they have received a unpaid strike. How do we know that they are getting it.If I can see a buyer has more than one strike bidding on my item I then can cancel their bids.We want to sell we dont want to wait 2 weeks to apply for a credit then have to relist it again.I't time consuming we sellers have excepted Fee rises , over the top Estore costs, paypal fees .Come on ebay without sellers you don't buyers anyway and with buyers and sellers you don't have a business model. This is a simple add on , believe will work and is a must to be implemented.

Unless things change dramatically between now and the end of March I have seen no increase in the number of non payers, if you are talking percentages then it is probably far fewer than it was six years ago as I only sold a small fraction of the number of items I sell now but I still get no more than 2 non payers on each id in the 5 months I am selling.

that's a ridiculous answer. have my blocks put in place .they are all first time bidders on products we sell.and have high ratings.block all buyers>??/who do we sell to then you??We know how to block.we are talking about bidders that don't go ahead with sales its become a habit on ebay.yes we can block them after this occurs .

Yes especially for the items that are a one off item not multiples. You want it sold, and you cant relist because your still waiting for the buyer to pay one day hahha what a joke.they must implement the non payer strike in a visual way where us sellers can see it.no other way.

its amazing they eBay are coming up with more rules for sellers everyday.like the listing photo quality and terms of refunds otherwise we dont get the good seller rating .but yet they are not making any rules for these time wasters that dont pay..even ringing their numbers is hopeless either switched off or disconnected.

lol auctions- sydney- its all part of a "non-paying strike system works manifesto" that a small number of regulars stick to IMO

From what I can tell, non-payment is not so much an issue for those that sell low priced items, with relatively low turnover and there seems to be a limitation in stretching minds to appreciate that there is a wider world out there than their own narrow view of trading or an imagination of areas where eBay could make a range of simple improvements to increase transparancy of non-payment and improve sellers protection from the non-paying pests.

Try reading the rules. Especially the bit about blocking buyers.

You can block ANY bidder who has more than one strike in up to a year with ANY seller. Not just you.
