Why don't interstate / post buyers pay instantly?

When I buy an item I pay immediately. However when I sell to interstate and postage buyers, I notice it takes ages to get paid. Not sure why?

some people pay straight away and its very nice when they do and they get their item quicker

when you say a postage buyer do you mean when they pay you post the item...............when they buy i post unless they ask about pick up

That would be entirely dependent on the buyer. 98% of my buyers pay instantly, 1% use Bank Deposit, and 1% don't pay.

Do you offer postage interstate? I assume you offer Paypal? Are your items pickup only?

You choose to pay straight away, others may not and neither do they have to. Ebay give them a minimum of 8 days to make payment and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it except only offer Paypal only and have immediate payment required.

1% don't pay??? Sorry, but I find that very hard to believe. However you only have a star rating of 40. Wait til you've been around a while and I guarantee your 1% will disappear. Yes I offer interstate postage, Paypal and pick up.

Oh dear Max you should really think before you post. Dave has been selling for years on multiple ids and probably sells more in a month than you do in a year.

Perhaps you would like to tell me that my much less than 1% total of non payers will change if I ever start selling, unlikely as it is used for posting but I too have been selling for a very long time and have never reached even 1% in any of those years.

I am entitled to express my Ebay experiences freely, isn't this what this forum is about or don't you understand that? Only 1% or less of sales are non payers, pfft yeah right.

Junkie has posted over 5,000 comments (yes 5,000) comment on various forums. Too much on their hands perhaps? Nothing better to do than pick on people who wish to express an opinion? Re-read Junkies comments, butted in on a comment that was of no concern to them??? Bored I guess. They were rude and defamatory first. You too have 1,435 posts??? get a life really.

Yep. 8 out of about 800 sales. That, I believe, is 1%. I don't sell more in a month than you do in a year, but I do seem to sell more than you.
