Payer Pays With Paypal But Not Cleared

Hi I have a buyer that has paid with Paypal and Still Pending, The item was bought 1 week ago and Paypal tells me it should be cleared on 30th Dec 2013. The payment is still not cleared and I dont see any option to open a dispure to recover my fees. Any Ideas as to what I can do?

Paddy, they may have paid with a e cheque also owned by paypal , i know its a pain but they can take a few days to clear, i get the odd one every now and then and its up to you if you want to send the item before it clears. The only issue is they can stop the payment after you have sent the item

It is probably pending from 30 December to 4th January. Will probably clear soon

Just wait until the payment clears and then send the item. Sometimes echeques take a few days longer that what paypal initially advice. Its a common thing.

When I check my Paypal account it states Item

eCheque estimated completion: 31 Dec 2013 - 3 Jan 2014. We recommend that you don't ship items until you receive payment

Ok I read it wrong but if it dont clear what then I never had this before

You will get an email if the eCheque fails. You always get notified. If fails you can open UID case

I got this so called eCheque on 27th Decemder not yesterday

Well, it has only been 2 business days so far to process. Some eCheques take up to 7 working days.

eCheques can take 3-5 BUSINESS days to clear.

OP - 27 Dec was Friday. Today is a Public Holiday. Tomorrow is 3 business days, next Monday is 5. Be patient. I can't believe you've never had an eCheque before.

This is the first eCheque I have had read a lot about them on here but yes the First and dont like them..

As the payment is being funded by a bank balance, not a credit card, there is NO chance of a chargeback down the line. I love 'em.
