yes you can have both open at the same time, eg with internet explorer and then another eg google chrome, I do that. google chrome seems to be heaps faster anyway. clearing your temporary files within your control panel regularly helps too.

Hi everyone

I have just set up a second id so that I can list 2 x 40 a month, but I wondered if anyone could tell me if there is an easy way to 'toggle' between the two id's. Currently I sign out and sign in again with the new id but it can be a little confusing.

I contacted eBay and they told me I would need to have a second browser such as Google Chrome of Firefox - is that correct?

thank you

Yes. The easiest way is to sign in on a different browser with a different ID. Otherwise you will be toggling.

I use Firefox for my main ID, Chrome for this one and, choke, IE for the one I don't use very often. Easy. Except for IE which takes forever to load and is full of eBay approved spam.

Dave, as I need to rely on an iPad, Chrome is sloooooowwwwww for me. Apple has implemented a go-slow for all browsers other than Safari.

Safari, in its turn, makes IE look like a hotted-up Lamborghini aventador.

Soooo...for users of things Apple, use Safari for preference and Chrome for the secondary login.

and if you really want to make your life easy, connect a couple of more monitors.

I currently operate up to 4. (not all for eBay LOL) but I can imagine how easy it is to just have one account per screen opened on different browsers, no need to swap between screens and tabs.

Lol, if I want a 5th id opened, for instance one of my UK accounts then I must admit to powering up my netbook too.
