Does anyone or Ebay have a definition of what makes an item a 'collectable'?

It is anything that people collect. It could be china, dolls, windup toys, certain magazines, watches.....anything that someone is interested in and has a number of the same thing.

eBay has their own ideas on ''collectable''

it is for them just a Category.

if it is in the 'Collectables'' category, its collectable...................... apparently
