Default Search

Ok so today searching stuff I noticed the default search has changed. It used to be best match now every time I search I am presented with newly listed items. Is everybody else the same. I usually search lowest price + postage so it's nothing I have set.

This is going to be bad for sales also. Most buyers only search the first few pages of listings so what happens to all those old listings they will never get seen. At least with best match you had some chance of your items up the list even older ones.

Mine comes up Best Match by default but if the defaults are changing randomly as you suggest then this could help explain why our sales are contnuing to be down about 60%.

Tonight mine have returned to best match. There are certainly lots of gremlins in the system at the moment.

The last couple of months, mine have intermittently defaulted back to best match. I have to go back in to customise the results back to ending soonest, plus re-select my other preferred options.
