Is it better to use Click and Send or continue with my Australia Post Account and lodge items at Post Office. Also I haven't been able to find where to get sticky labels to attach to parcels. I don't trust just taping a bit of A4 with the address on it to the front of the parcel in case it gets dislodged.

I have an Aust Post account and use e-parcels for everything. I find it much (usually around 30%) cheaper, everything I sell goes in satchels and nothing gets cubed, and they supply e-parcel standard and express adhesive labels free - they phone me every month to see if I need labels or any other stationery supplies.

Marina.

Slightly off topic perhaps but as the recipient of the occasional ebay click and send satchel I have noticed the plastic pockets not always sealed - had one the other day where the paper 'label' could have almost slid out. The senders really need to cut or fold the label small enough so they can completely seal the plastic pocket or perhaps put some tape over it.

eparcel is available for high volume sellers, more info here:

http://auspost.com.au/business-solutions/eparcel.html

As for options (general) for printing address labels, I love my speedy little Dymo LabelWriter, saves me firing up

the normal big printer.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to me Marina. Wish my Post Office would ask if I needed stationery supplies. Because I live in a small town, they are very hard to obtain.

thanks so much for that input. I am planning on using sticky labels that attach to the parcel, as I don't trust the idea of paper labels as Aust Post suggest. I will also look up the Dymo Label Writer to see what the go is with that.

Thanks for your reply chezzy. Still unsure which way to go, but the click and send seems to be less labour intensive if I can get the correct sticky labels to use for the parcels.

You could try A4 self adhesive sticker paper sheets, save using and taping 'normal' paper to the packages (some sellers on ebay appear to have the A4 sheets).

My Dymo LabelWriter spits a label out within seconds, it is thermal label/printing so no need to worry about replacing ink or toner. I simply copy and paste the buyer's address onto the label template I created and hit print! Should have had one years ago. Great for super fast address labels but not sure how it would work for Click + Send etc. I use the 59 x 102mm large shipping labels.
