Does anyone realise that if you are paid for an item into your bank account rather than Paypal you do not get to access the cheaper postage and you cannot print out a postage label. Another great money grab by Ebay.

If the buyer completes checkout and you mark the item as paid you should be able to print a Postage label.

I have to agree with the OP The buyer paid via Bank account when I marked the item as Paid and went to print Postage Label I kept getting the Message Buyer Has Not Paid Use Other means of something like that had to use C&S to actually get the Paid Label.

I forgot to add the buyer DID Not Complete Checkout just paid with details that was supplied on the invoice which included my Bank Details.

The shipping address for the Postage Label comes from checkout. If the buyer does not complete checkout then the postage label option is not available.

The print postage label has been available to me for all but one of tmy buyers that has purchased and/or completed checkout and not paid by paypal on all of my ids .

IMO that is the issue - as it appears to be hit and miss scenario in play, with a glitch overriding, in a number of cases, what should be a given - access to advertised post label processing no matter how a buyer pays.

it would seem to be an isolated incident, rather than a hit and miss scenario.

Unless, of course, one datum proves a theory.

Ebay as well as a number of posters on these boards have confirmed the glitch - not sure that represents an "isolated" issue - i would call it more a "known" issue.

YOU referred to a single incident as proof of your theory.

I haven't seen any hard data. And I certainly haven't had an issue.

So, your ONE instance is possibly not statistically relevant. Or is opinion, in which case you should be labelling it as such. As you usually do when you can't provide proof.

I am a bit unclear as to what proof you are seeking?

A number of posters have indicated that this is an issue for them, personally i have also had this issue in one instance (and confirmed with ebay it was a problem their end ) and the issue has been reported on other recent threads by other sellers.

It is also looking like ebay is stealing the GST component of the postage cost for postage labels invoiced to your ebay accounts .. it looks to me that the rort is jiggered so that ebay is the international customer of the post office on behalf of the Australian ebay seller etc so is kooking like ebay and their Swiss banker mates are allowed to steal Australian GST money from your children and sick grandma .. uncomfirmed as yet and am making inquiries with the postal union among other things .. if they are doing this it should incur a multi billion dollar fine and some jail time except that our laws are splayed backwards so that ebay gets a "fair" run .. NEw Zealand had the right idea and have rid themself of this festering malignancy ....

eBay don't collect GST, so how could they pay it?

For postage, it is Australia Post who collects the GST and it is their responsibility to pass it on to the government.

The item was marked as paid. I have also spoken to Ebay and they have confirmed this. Not really discounted postage any as they are charging fees including postage so any discount is negated!

Marking as paid makes no difference. buyer has to complete checkout. This is to ensure they verify shiipping address for this ale either via paypa or check out.

After this label is processed as a paypal trnsaction.

FVF on postage is a con, but this is the same cost however you post the item, via Ebay labels or otherwise.
