How do I set a message to say that me as the seller is away?

I think that option is only available for store owners

Correct, only store holders can set it to holiday mode.

If you can access a computer while you are away to answer questions, then keeping listings live may be an option.

Otherwise it may be better to end listings and relist on your return.
