Because the feedback (perhaps rather cleverly) says "did not in my opinion decribe (sic) the item faults fully especialy (sic) what was important", it doesn't quite qualify for removal under 'normal" circumstances (if they had said "doesn't work" or similar, then I think it would have been removed immediately, but they're not contesting your description, just saying it wasn't good enough for some undisclosed reason).

That's not to say I think the FB is fair or not (I'm not in a position to say one way or another), if there was some issue that could have been described in more detail then maybe, but if something doesn't work and you don't know why, your description says all you can.

At any rate, the point is I think you would probably have better success at getting the neg removed if you used the defamation route: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/community/defam-form.html

NEGATIVE FEEDBACK TOO EASY

I feel that EBAY allows buyers to place negative feedback too easy. I find it very frustrating as a seller trying to do the right thing and yet ebay allows this to happen when a buyer has no real cause to do so. Yeah far enough if there is a REAL PROBLEM or issue. Seems some people just leave negative feedback just because they had a BAD day. So over selling on ebay. I just had a buyer file a not as described dispute with paypal. With in 30 mins paypal close the dispute in my favour as they buyer had no valid reason. Yet ebay then allows this buyer to leave negative feedback, it is just wrong.

You were told in the other topic you posted what to do. just call ebay and have the NEG removed. they will remove it as the item was listed "not working", the buyer cannot complain that it is not working. that is why you also won the PP dispute. But most importantly, place this numpty on your blocked list so they cannot buy from you again.

thanks, yeah I know I shouldn't let it bother me. 🙂 just cant believe how easy it is for buyers to leave negative feedback.First time I have used this discussion board. I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way. Sellers dont have the option of leaving negative feedback??? Most buyers are great and sellers, just rude when some make it bad for the rest, trying to scam people on ebay.

OP, if the Neg F'back was demonstrably unfair, I hope ebay removes it

Yes, it's easy for Buyer to leave Neg Feedback and there are some who will do so, as you say, simply because they can, in the same way some shine high-beams in other drivers' eyes or rip off the welfare system or falsely cry rape. Some creatures are unevolved and a burden on the rest of us

I'm sorry it's happened to you and can guess at your frustration and anger. It's in the hope of destroying someone else's peace of mind that the unevolved creatures do these things. They'll very probably return to earth as cockroaches and flies

Not all us Buyers are like that though. Most often I choose to leave no feedback at all when a buy's gone bad, although on one or two occasions I've left Neg Feedback to knock the complacency out of bad Sellers, for the sake of other Buyers

Hope you have the Neg removed and that the rest of your day is better 🙂

You need to try again and get someone to look at the listing. As you say in your followup, the item was listed as not working so the buyer cannot turn round and say the listing was not clear.
