Hi i am just wondering if anyone has any idea why i can't sign into my ebay account. when i try it just goes back to the sign in page,but doesn't say why i cant sign in. My user name and password are correct. please help.

Clear cache and cookies.

Use a browser that is not IE. Firefox and Chrome are good.

Reboot your computer after either of the above.

Are you sure you haven't misspelt something?

Do you realise this thread is years old, and most of the people who posted no longer use eBay?

Have you considered opening a new thread with your problem? (Too late now) And a bit of detail. Have you tried the possible solutions given all those years ago, most of which would still be applicable?

This board is for member use and nobody here can look at your account to see if there are problems.

As an aside, you know you can't leave negative comments with a positive dot for buyers.

You can have your account restricted if ebay gets wind of that.

The amount of time you've been on eBay only shows that you've been on the net long enough to know that All caps is considered yelling. And considerably harder to read than properly cased writing. Like your last post.

me neither. I tried firefox and that worked.
Probably cookies or cache needs clearing.
But ebay IS very hard to use, and very hard to contact.
There must be better ways to sell stuff on line.

Totally agree......Not sure about better ways but there are alternatives. All involve spending money which is probably essential to any results.
