hi the bottom appears also when you do a mutual cancellation proccess, eg my lego this week. the buyers child bought the lego and she asked for a cancellation, she responded and the case closed she can leave feedback and so can i. if its a technical issue ring or email the helpdesk, ebay like to change things without telling anyone.

thanks Anthony.

What does this mean?

Normally when I close an unpaid dispute, this is what I see after its been closed

It states that it's been closed and shows that the buyer now can't try to pay and can't leave feedback.

What does this mean then?

I got an email from eBay saying the case had been closed and FVF had been credited. The resolution centre says the case is closed and I received a FVF credit, yet when you look at this, it's been 'removed' and even though the buyer is blocked from paying, it seems like they can still leave feedback.

Has anyone else seen this before that they could shed some light on this?

Confused 😞

Did you close the case too early? Is it 4 days (4x24 hours) since you opened it?

Or maybe the buyer has had the strike removed? I haven't seen that message before.

I haven't seen that message before.

Neither had I, that's what threw me!

It was definitely not closed early. When I went into the resolution centre is said "you can now close this case". Initially it said I could close at 8.54pm and I closed at 9pm. When I had been in there earlier to check the time I could close, it wouldn't let me select the option 'no' that the buyer hadn't paid.

Surely if she goes ahead and red dots me I should be able to have it removed.

I've sent CS an email to see if they can shed some light on what that message means.

Thanks Brick!

If you close the case as unpaid and IF the buyer does leave feedback of any kind then call ebay and it will be removed.

Yes, but if you open a non paying bidder dispute, after it has been closed, neither party can leave feedback. And any feedback left between the opening and the closing of the dispute will be removed.

I got a reply back from Customer Service and that message means the buyer got the unpaid strike removed from her account. I still get my FVF back though.
