even if u mail/message ebay about a deadbeat bidder, they wont even message back the seller, just automatically siding with the deadbeat bidder whom will never pay and then u must wait 30 something days and cant sell your item because its in resolve mode which for the seller honestly will never be resolved if a buyer doesnt pay instantly 100% they wont pay at all and most wont even communicate in the hope u will forget about it just like ebay does, buyers get away with murder here on ebay can do anything bad they want without one single bit of bad feedback allowed against them, u would think after all these years EBAY would wisen up by now through experience but fact is they have gotten worse

It makes me feel awfully suspicious xD

Would you guys generally regard that kind of feedback as a danger flag? Or is my cynicism getting to me

(I'll be refunding as it was a letter but just curious to hear what other people have to say)

Yes i have had 2 buyers who claim item not received. I was suspicious immediatly as they had both made a point of telling me they would leave feedback once item had been received.

When these 2 advixsed me the item had not been received I checked their feedback I noticed some sellers had added feedback after initial feedback had been left stating "Buyer stated Item not Received Refund Given".

In these instances there were around 5 items not received by the individual buyers.

I did refund these 2 buyers but did leave additional feedback stating the above so other sellers are aware.

I do however usually send with tracking because of these type of buyers, but trying to make items reasonably priced for a small item I do obvously send without tracking

No I don't, why woud I take any notice of a seller who thinks it is OK to breach ebay policy by leaving a false positive? How could I trust them to be telling the truth? Most of my items have tracking and for the few low cost items that go by unregistered letter I just refund or replace without even thinkig about it.

Where did you pluck that figure from? Buyer doesn't pay, open an unpaid dispute after 4 days, close it 4 days later to get your fees back, relist. That equates to 8 days, not 30 something. Why would you contact eBay about a non payer? That's what the dispute system is for.

If eBay is causing you so much stress, maybe you should close your account....or at the very least, make an appointment with a professional and go on some medication. That's some serious anger issues you have going on there.

For the record, the buyer you left the abusive false positive feedback for, if they decide to report it to eBay, you will get your butt kicked for violating policy. The worst part is, you get in strife, the comment is removed and they get to keep the green dot that has increased their feedback score.
