Did not receive buyer's invoice request

Does anyone know why ebay sends buyer's invoice request only to your linked email address, but NOT to ebay's inbox which I constantly check. I seldom log on to the linked email, only to use it as a backup, hence missed a buyer's request which I found out today. Do you have the same problem? Do you check the ebay inbox and the linked email both at the same time? Heaps thanks !

When a buyer sends a request for a combined invoice it shows where the $ sign usually is like an hourglass.

So no need to see an email as it shows you there.

Most post sale emails do not go to your ebay inbox, as stated any updates are easily spotted on the sold items page which is why I rarely check my ebay email address either, there has never been any need to.

Thank you for your reply. I suppose we all rarely check the email other than ebay's inbox, because we assume ebay should includes every details of a sale. Until today one customer complained the item she received is not the color she ordered. Later I found out that she left a message at the end of the invoice request, which ebay only send it to the linked email!

But if a customer left message at the end of the invoice request, you won't be able to see it if you don't check that email.

We have been caught out in a similar way before.

So now we always monitor our email INBOX just in case there are any of these kind of emails in there with hidden messages from the buyer.

I just had multiple purchases from a buyer and in my ebay messages was the message from ebay to send a combined invoice after the buyer sent a request for combined invoice..

So it shows in your ebay messages.

If not then check your settings.
