Today, somebody '"sniped" one of my items few seconds before it was ending, it was a BIN only!!! Then I get a message that it will be "cash on pick up" from her PO in Cessnock!? I am in Melbourne and do not offer COD. She has 60 FB, and bought stuff from the USA ...................

And now the same question, slightly rephrased, posted 2x, just few minutes apart; "does it really look like the photo"

I wish there was a possibility to cancel transaction at this stage.

Just a whinge ........... LOL

Could you cancel on the grounds that she is requesting a postal service that you do not offer?

Or wait for payment that will not arrive and then open a dispute?

In the past 1/2 hour she messaged me about 1/2 dozen times. Her last 3 messages say that she paid and when am I going to post the parcel. I do not have a mesage from PP confirming the payment; when I logged in it does show that she paid $250, but my balance is only $37? Now I am getting really worried.

It sounds as though she is not fit to be let out alone. She seems to have her sellers mixed up.

And she keeps messaging me, this was her last message:

"Have you received my payment? Yes, according to our records, the seller received your payment on 26 Aug, 2014. this is what I get when I go to payments and checkout "

She only bought it about 2pm today (coupl of hours ago); I do not know how long it normally takes for PP messages to come through. Usually, I find the "your item sold" and "you have a payment" at the same time.

Maybe I should call PP. I really do have other things to do this afternoon. grrrrrrrrr

Sometimes the PayPal email doesn't come through for a couple of hours. Sometimes they are through before the eBay email.

I've sold a couple of things this afternoon and am still waint on PP notification.. Usually they come through together, the ebay and PP emails. Occasionally there is a delay. Usually when they are working on the site.

It had to happen to transaction with a weird person LOL

I also noticed that the account has been dormant for over a year. I felt presured, she is trying to get me post the item immediately.

Is it actually something that can be posted? Is the postage cost included in the payment, or has she jumped the gun expecting you to pay for postage? If you do post, make sure it has tracking, because I sense murky waters ahead with this one. I would probably even go so far as to send signature on delivery.

Was it a pick up item or not? If it was then just sit and wait for her to pick up, there is no buyer protection for pick up items. If it was to be posted and postage is included then if it is showing as cleared in Paypal I would post with SOD just to be on the safe side. If it is not showing at all in Paypal then it sounds as if she has paid to the wrong Paypal address.

Yes, it was listed to be posted, with payment by PP, DD and I also offered "cash on pick up" option. But definitely not COD, I checked.

I still do not have the PP notice. Hope it comes overnight.

Sometimes the paypal emails don't ever turn up. I'd rely on what's showing in your paypal account, and if it doesn't show as a CLEARED payment I wouldn't post. With e-cheques you usually get a message saying not to post until they've notified you that they've cleared, and they usually take around a week or so.

I'd be conveniently not home this afternoon. That gives you time to think and takes a lot of pressure off when this sort of thing happens! If you sent an invoice early on and they know you're home, then you obviously had some sort of emergency that had to be attended to straight away.

there was an issue with paypal payments howing as cleared funds today now resolved so you should see the money in there now?

I had several payments not showing from ebay and my website all now cleared

Yes, message came through just after 7pm 🙂 I printed the label, and notified the buyer.
