Yep

Apparently I havent sold $3,000 in the past 12 months. i find that odd

I think i started in November last year if I remember correctly, but since May this year, I have sold over $5.600 so i should be a PowerSeller

But when I was just on the phone, eBay said I am $220 short of $3,000. I cannot understand

I also did find out that you can be a Top-Rated Seller and not a PowerSeller because it all works on a different critera I was just told

Trust me....being a powerseller means absolutely nothing.

There seem to be some discrepancies here. I did understand you had to be a Power Seller in order to be a Top Rated Seller and this is what I read in the ebay Power Seller info and Top Rated Seller info from the site map.

That said, you are clearly a Top Rated Seller, which is far more likely to be what buyers are looking for.

The advantages listed are "priority customer support" - :^O - good luck with that one.

However I do enjoy the Power Seller discussion board and have learned a great many techniques from lurking there. You also get some very straightforward advice.

ebay phone support is notoriously inaccurate in dispensing advice. I suggest you check you are actually logged in to see if the Power Seller board icon appears.

If not, we will have to wait until due recognition by ebay before you join the throng.

just click on Seller Dashboard under the Accounts Tab,

then click on the PS Logo and it will give you your running total of sales for current 12months, and the date of your next 'review' (Mine is always the 21st of each month, and I'm pretty sure I'll loose PS this month due to cutting back on eBaying)...

The sub-forum links disappear from the main menu occasionally, for me anyway, including the Buying / Selling ones. Usually if I refresh the page they appear.

Hi there , you can have my 2 power seller ratings if you like . I was wondering why i wasn't getting the 30 free listings a month and rang ebay wondering why , i was told that since i'm now a power seller i dont get that anymore . I have 2 accounts , one which has only 107 feedback so i dont know why i'm a power seller . The fees are killing me now , if i load an item on for $20 the listing fee is $1.90 then if it only sells for $20 there go's another couple bucks and if paid with paypal more fees ect . By the time i buy the items to sell , pack them up and post them there's nothing left for the seller.....My little sook anyway , all the best , cheers Brett

If you list at $19.99 instead of $20.00, the insertion fee is only 50c, so for a 1c price cut you already save $1 in fees. 😉

Have you checked your DSRs and looked to see if you have any policy violations? Either of those could lose you your PS status and probably your TRS at the next evaluation.

They are both evaluated at different times which is probably why you can still have TRS without being a PS.

I was gonna close my store, and take the 30 free listings 🙂 but being about $200 of the mark which i have been selling a week in the past 2 months, I wont get the 30 free ones so there goes that idea lol

what am i gonna do greencat, one less board to play on 😞
