Did you refresh the page? Sometimes that can get rid of them. I had a buyer asked a question stuck under one of my listings until it sold, depsite replying to it.

You could also send your buyer a message and ask if they got the invoice OK and explain why you are asking.

A buyer has bought several things from me and has requested a postage total, which of course is perfectly normal.

I have sent the buyer an invoice 3 times showing the combined post, yet in my Sold page, it is still constantly saying in red Buyer requested total. Why is this not disappearing from my Sold page if I have sent the buyer the correct invoice 3 times.

Is it a bug in the Ebay system??

Mmm ... sounds like the buyer may have purchased the items via placing them in their shopping cart.

I would ask them if they have purchased this way.

And then take it from there .... including getting them to delete them from their cart, and attempting to send another invoice when the cart is empty.

Might not be the case, but equally might be.
