Free listings and automatic relisting

I've just started listing items with the 150 free listings, but the button for the automatic relist three times isn't there!

Has eBay removed it for the free listing offer?

I've had that happen to me.....it comes & goes...probably a glitch.....it might be there tomorow

Try cleaning out your browser cache and cookies, then restart the browser. Others have advised this usually works

Yes, that ^^^^^^. Has worked for me when the box disappears.

Store owners, powersellers and people who 'sell too much' are not eligible. This is a feature designed to sttract new sellers. I had this confirmed by Live Help when I asked why I didn't have the feature.

Actually store holders and powersellers can get the free relistings.

Registered business owners with ebay don't qualify

I am a powerseller and apparently sell more than their supposed quota not to qualify, yet I always have and use the 3 free relists.

What is the quota? I am a powerseller too with a store and still qualify (not that getting powerseller status is that onerous - only 100 sales in 12 months)

A few months ago the automatically relist 3 times for free box disappeared, so I contacted eBay about it. They said that it is probably because I had sold over 100 items. They also suggested I clear my browser cache as that can sometimes affect it. I cleared out and the box returned. I wondered then if I was on borrowed time having sold over 100 items, but so far I have no lost that box again.

So, I would assume that selling over 100 items can cause you to lose the option to relist for free. It may have just been a general cut and paste reply too and they were completely off track.

Well, there ya go, the CS person that dealt with me was way off track. They said 100 items sold as opposed to feedback.

It's a bit of both:

What are the requirements?

To qualify for the PowerSeller program, sellers need to consistently sell a significant volume of items, provide a high level of service to their buyers, maintain a positive Feedback score, and meet the requirements for detailed seller ratings. Membership in the program is free.

You don't need to apply for the PowerSeller program. If you qualify, you'll automatically be included. Just check your Seller Dashboard to see if you've achieved PowerSeller status. PowerSeller levels include Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium depending on the number of items you've sold or the dollar amount of your sales.

If you're not a PowerSeller yet, you can always work your way up by meeting these requirements:

Be registered with eBay for at least 90 days
Have a minimum of 100 transactions and $1,000 USD in sales with Australian buyers over the past 12 months
Have a seller performance rating of Above Standard or higher on eBay.com.au
Have a Feedback score of 100 or more, with at least 98% positive Feedback over the past 12 months
Have an account in good standing (e.g. seller fee payments up to date)
Follow all eBay policies

If your account falls below these requirements, you may lose your PowerSeller status.

Requirements are there as a guideline but everyone's circumstances are different. Here is what I was told:

*Ebay*. 04:40:26 I was able to check on the details here and based on our resources the automatic relist option is only available for new casual seller's these are seller's who are not not a store owner, business registered or a powerseller. Looking at the account though, I can see that you are now a powerseller, this disable you having the items relisted automatically when unsold.

alldollarsandsense 04:41:28 That's strange. The online help details say that the feature is available to non-store owners. It does not mention anything about powersellers

*Ebay*. 04:43:35 Actually this also affect business registered account, this includes powerseller's.

It may be because my wife and I run another (business) account that generates our income - and they have combined the 2 together and have denied me the use of the feature on this account. But I always qualify for the free listings when they are given for non-store owners. Consistent it ain't.

Thankful for what we get, but I would have liked this feature.

It could well be due to your linked business account, although I'm just speculating. I am a Powerseller and most definitely get the free relist box with every new listing.
