I guess they think that we don't understand "english".

They certainly put some thought into those detailed instructions that you received!

I had one chinese seller put a business card into the package with instructions as well but they were no where near as detailled as those you have copied!

I recently dealt with a chinese seller & at the bottom of each & every email was printed these lines in a feint text -

"If any problem, please contact us again before leaving Negative/Neutral feedback Or low DSR with 1,2,3 stars, and please DO NOT open a dispute in Paypal or eBay.We have been working hard to resolve ALL the issues and make you 100% satisfy.

Have a nice day!"

Then as the item never arrived & their communication stopped.

I finally left feedback so emails started arriving with this contradictory message saying -

"We just hope to get positive feedback from you if you are satisfied with our solutions.
Would you please withdraw the feedback into positive?
You can write your honest experience after the feedback.
Will you please do us a favor?

Looking for your reply soon"

Its good to know they are feeling the pressure too.

When you look at their negs etc , they look like they should have been gone long ago. Don't know how they get away with it.

clearly their instructions don't work!

They are good at stalling though, have dealt with a few, and they stall you until it's too late to do anything about it., promising a refund if you don't leave a negative etc. then after the forty days, ignore you completely.

I've seen quite a few Chinese sellers have instructions similar to this at the bottom of each listing. I highly doubt it makes any difference because we already know a LOT of buyers only look at the title and the photos.

Thankfully, I've never had any issues with Chinese sellers, or Indian, or Thai or Pakastani, or Slovakian. Maybe sellers who sell mineral specimens have more of a conscience than those that sell cheap electrical/technological items?

I lie, I did have 2 issues. One was an item that never arrived, which the seller promptly refunded without having to open a claim, so not really an issue. Actually, I couldn't open a claim because the 45 days had passed (it got lost down the bottom of my purchase history and I missed it). Even so, there was no hesitation.

The other, a seller tried to charge me postage on multiple free post items because "you bought a lot of things, the postage will be expensive". I explained that if postage is expensive for them they should add a postage charge to the listing (they posted airmail, which does cost), or factor it into the item price. I then sent them the link to the eBay policy where it clearly states you can't charge for postage and handling if the listing is for free postage. I immediately got a new invoice with the postage costs removed.

I love reading the Chinese Engrish listings, they can put a smile on your face. You can always tell when they've used a translator as 'items' are referred to as 'projects'. As in, "if you are happy with the project, please leave positive feedback". Cracks me up every time!

I bought a pair of "heart of the ocean" replica earrings from a Chinese seller. Items arrived in a tiny padded bag with much the same message as in the OP. I too love having a laugh at what my daughters call "Chinglish" (they go to Uni with many OS students) & often have to edit their work when working in pairs/groups.

The earrings were well made, pretty, & nicer than I'd expected! All for the princely sum of $AU1.08 "freepost"(I can't wear real gold in my ears, only junk or silver or silverplated ear hooks) Whilst such earrings aren't for everyone, they are perfect for me!
