Why cant I leave negative feedback or any feedback for someone that failed to pay

Why cant we leave negative feedback for someone that failed to make payment after making several promises would be paid the next day, then the next day, then the day after that

Other sellers need to be aware of these people

sellers haven't been able to leave anything less than positive feedback for buyers for years.
most sellers already know this.

Go through the non payment dispute if they don't pay they get a strike on their account. Put them on you blocked list

To add to hbh's post, don't be tempted to leave positive feedback with a negative comment, because if the "buyer" knows eBay's policies they'll report you for it and you will get a policy violation for it - which may well now be a "defect" on your account.

To add to the previous 2 posts, make sure you have blocks in place in your buyer requirements so people with more than 2 unpaid strikes against their account can't buy from you. You'd be surprised how many of them there is.

Not a master, but I do know that would not be a defect. Defects are all instigated by buyer actions (with the exception of cancellations, and possibly refunds), if ebay decided to take action against a false negative, it would result in a policy violation, but not a defect.

Ah digi, who knows what is next in line for that unfair dsr spotlight ??

Perhaps dsr's for the retracting bidders, the serial neggers, snad's and inr's....................

That would maybe even things up for the sellers..................

I could only get away with that since I'm a buyer only atm.................

But thinking about it, if eBay doesn't look very carefully at their business model, I will not have too many sellers to buy from.
