How is it a scam or ebay's fault if you fail to read and/or understand the rules? Ebay tells you that the number of included listings with any account is limited to the number of listings allowed to a new account. If you link a credit card to your ebay account then that will sometimes increase your selling but if I were you I would close the store and sell using the up to 40 free listings until your number of listings is increased to enough to make a store viable.

Sign up for a seller store and no sooner finish it and Ebay places seller restrictions on the account so you can not use the store or sell.....But they still charge you the store seller fees........**bleep**...... double standards and policies, one set for customers and another set for ebay.....TOTAL SMAMERS.....etsy is a much better and fairer trading place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if this is your only ebay ID then yes, you will have new seller restrictions , whether you have a store or no store.

however if you do have other eBay IDs in your name, then you can notify eBay that this new Store is associated with YOU, the holder of another ebay Selling ID with good feedback and they may, at their discretion up your new seller limits accordingly.

have you linked your c/card to the New Store? that usually gets an upgrade in New Seller Limits too
