It's not enough paypal tried to sit on my money for 21 days even that item was sent and buyer was happy now I can not transfer

money into my bank account because of some reason I do not understand.If I am lucky to fix this problem then I have to wait

another 3-5 days to have money in my bank account.Funny,when I pay for anything with paypal my money goes to paypal

without delay.

Not only that but if fees are due and there is not enuff money in your account (notwithstanding the money they are already holding) they will automatically dip into your bank account directly from the card you have attached to your account.

So perhaps we ought to keep the linked account empty then they cannot dip into it since there is nothing there.

I'm sure then they will just suspend your selling account until you pay up. Even tho they might be holding sufficient funds that the bill could be paid.

We are not happy about this either. They are making heaps on the short-term money markets from this witholding BS.

We are developing our own website and have been leaning towards accepting paypal. But now I believe we will abandon that and just go with eWay all the way. Their fees are marginally higher but you can accept credit payments directly. And they don't have all this BS. The money is yours and in your linked account instantly.

Can you believe this BS ......paypal as of last week have created a new rule being able to hold my funds for 21 days without reason.

What kind of extortion racket is this. What normal legal banking system would get away with such blatant manipulation.

Im absolutely fuming and that is putting it politely.

For a small period of time, it was a good paypal day. for some unknown reason there was no hold on our funds at about 1am, so i withdrew them LMAO now the blasted hold is back on in the acc.

I use paypal and ewAy and I have to say I find paypal infinately superior. My fees are cheaper, the service I have found really good and they have always helped me when there are issues. The 21 day thing doesnt affect me but there you go someone who likes paypal!

I got an scam, email about updating my paypal. have had heaps of them, I hope you didn't click onto the links.
always go into your account the normal way, not by any email you may get.

I have ALWAYS been very PRO-Paypal. This 21 days thing is the first time I've been extremely unhappy.

With that said, my mouth must have shown its true potential, because now, although the ebay acc says funds may be on hold for 21 days, if I go in and look in paypal they are now not holding any of them at all.

As per a paypal "expert" I can not link my saving bank account with paypal as I had it linked to three previous accounts.

I never had three paypal accounts.Only one I cancelled after great paypal service which cost me money stolen from me

with the help of paypal experts.Thanks for explaining everything in broken English and at the end no help at all.

some false paypal records.Scary business eith paypal

Is that legal for ebay and paypal to keep records of my bank accounts after a year I got rid of them.They claimed I had my bank

account linked to three paypal accounts.I had only one.When I stated they were talking porkies they stopped communicating

in their broken English.Before they were sending generic emails (read BS)Very nice of that ones that should protect us.
