Maximum Selling Question

Hi all,

I'm new to selling and am getting frustrated with the fact that if I have a 'Colour' variation I cannot sell more than say 15 of each colour in the first month. Yet if I sell the one colour without any other colours/variations I can sell as many as I want.

I had assumed that for the first month, 15 listings was my max. listings I could have, so I could sell infinite quantity (under $2500 per month) of that one listing? Is this correct?

If your monthly limit is 15 listings or $2,500, then that means you can only have 15 items listed or sold at any one time in the month. If you list 15 items and 1 sells, you can't list another one to replace it, because 14 left listed and 1 sold equals your limit of 15. If you still have the 14 remaining listings active when the new month starts, you can only list 1 more item as the already listed ones carry over to the next month.

The $ limit means, if you say list a computer for $2,500 and it sells on the first day, you can't list anything else for the month. If the computer sells for $2,200, you can only sell $300 more for the month. It's not 15 items AND $2,500, it's whichever limit is reached first.

Thankyou for the reply! It makes sense and is rather annoying but as a new seller I guess I don't have a choice.

Half way down your selling page, where the box shows what your limits are, there's a link to increase selling limits. I *think* if you add a credit card to your account they will give you a higher limit. Have you phone verified your account?
