Open an Unpaid Item Case, wait to see if they pay and if that doesn't work, they will get a Strike against them. You can then block them. Remember though , they may have just forgotten to pay or extremely busy this time of the year etc. Hope that helps ? Have a Merry Christmas.

Why are non payers allowed to get away with not paying for an item & yet still retain their feedback rating ? Making a complaint through resolution has no effect as the buyer knows they can get away with it. Why was the right of the seller (in Australia) to leave negative feedback for these waste-of-timers with-drawn ? In the past it at least gave sellers the option to block these non payers with too many negatives for not doing the right thing.

I was rather surprised to see that my blocked non-payers have all had quite high feedback figures and should know better. I'd have expected lots of low or zero-feedback users but it has been quite the opposite, unfortunately.

I am the same as CQ, although I don't get many non payers (most pay once a dispute is opened) the ones I do get tend to be mid to high feedback members. Very few zero or low feedback buyers end up with a strike as many of them are just confused by some part of the system and with a bit of hand holding will eventually make payment.

Mine are all quite high too. One that fell off in the last few days had 3 feedback when they hit my list. I think they were up to 9 or 12 by the time they fell off. I've found 99.9% of low or zero feedback buyers try to do the right thing, but as mentioned, sometimes they might just need a bit of guidance with payment. I think most are worried about the ramifications if they don't pay!

Bit sad to see a high-volume seller down the bottom of yours, sheep.

You'd think they'd know better than most other users, wouldn't you?

I thought that too CQ. I was equally as shocked to see the feedback score for the one on Dec 4. You'd think by that stage, they'd know the rules and know the impact it can have on them. Maybe they see it as "you blocked me? Your loss". I'd rather not deal with them, even if it does mean a lost sale.

Yeah, same here sheep. I've already had my share of NPBs this week and fortunately this one didn't pay, nor did he contact me, so I no longer have to worry about him paying up and negging me out of spite any more, and he's going to find it just that little bit harder to buy stuff from now on as well.
