Music Buffs please help - reprise

All my dear friends, thank you so much for your compassion and attempts to help me with finding this elusive piece of music.

My daughter suggested recording my singing voice (luckily I can just about hold a tune) on a voice recording web site. We did this and posted the link on FB with an explanatory note. Then a friend of a friend who is a bit of a music expert, who recognised the music but couldn't give it a name, went on a tireless search and wouldn't give up. Quite overwhelming and touching.

Well the long and short of it is, that just today, she found it !! She sent me the youtube link and as soon as I heard the opening familiar bars, I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Beautiful music, does often unlock the emotions.

I - L - M - Sheep, you are very sweet and your concern, is really affecting. My mum is still alive but the doctors think it will only be a few days at most. We have spent most of our time with her or organising for the service and ringing around to friends and family, of course.

Oh WOW, I am so pleased you found it! It will make such a difference when the time comes. Enjoy the time you have left with your mum.
