If you are meaning Ebay postage labels, we have found an easy way to print 2 labels per page.

1 Go to Print Ebay label and get it ready to print.

2 Before you hit Print, change option to Landscape (not Portrait). This turns the label on its side.

3 Put the sheet of A4 in the printer just like normal and press print.

4 Once the first label is printed, take the sheet and turn it around, with the printed label facing up at the top end and the sheet of paper now has its blank end inside the printer.

5 Now do your next label, and voila! 2 labels per page.

I know this is not as economical as some other options suggested but is a very easy way to print labels and for me who is a complete clutz and nana on the computer this was the easiest. Also don't feel quite such a paper bandit.

Okay,

If you have the label visible on your screen, you can take a shot of it (I use a snipping tool, easier and quicker than a screen shot)

You can find it in your programs under snipping tool, or you can download it free.

Once the label is visible, you snip the image and save it as a jpg or pdf, then later you can simply insert them into word doc as an image and you can do 4 to a page. More if you don't care about the posties eyesight LOL

This is a snip of my post -

You can resize it into your word doc, or Ai or publisher, whatever program you use for images and publishing.

I have a nifty little Dymo label printer and I do all my letter size item labels with this, I just view the order details and copy and paste the address into the Dymo software that comes with the printer. Very quick and easy and because the printer is thermal, no ink cartridges required. Very economical, labels come in rolls of about 220 per roll, and I get them form a seller here.

Insert and position text boxes on the page (as many as you require) - don't forget to allow room for print margins ie don't take the tet boxes right up to the page edges.

3. Set the text box line visibility to "solid line" and print a page - once you are happy with the layout change line properties to "No Line".

4. Save as a blank file (just the formatting you have done with no text).

5. Access your ebay order details, highlight the name and address, Press Ctrl+C

6. Swap to Word (Alt+Tab), position your cursor in the first text box, Press Ctrl+V

7. Repeat until you have done all your labels.

8. Print the page.

Note - When you are finished, close word without saving and you will be ready to go again next time.

If you are talking about AP Barcoded Paid Postage labels I use Click&Send which prints out 4 to a page

Above post works perfectly fine, assuming you know how to change page settings and create text boxes and want to print a few times to make sure you have them in the right spots.

It is easier than this though, just to let WORD do it for you. Every version of WORD has templates set up for letter labels - you dont need to create it yourself. You just open it at the label template section, then save a copy to your desktop and itll be ready to go every time.

To find out what verison WORD you have (year - instructions vary slightly depending on what version you have) -

Go to MS word icon or shortcut (usually on desktop), DONT open it.

Instead, RIGHT click on it and a menu will pop up.

Go down on the menu and open "properties".

It will be written there.

If you happen to have MS Word 2010 (if not, let me know and Ill give instructions)-

1. Open MS word

2. top menu bar find the tab that says "Mailings", click it.

3. Go to "Labels", click it.

4. a box will pop up asking for details. At the bottom of this box go to "Options"

5. Another box pops up. You will see a list called "product numbers". says 1/2 letter, 1/4 letter etc. with measurements when you click on them.

6. go to "30 per page" in this menu, click it. (check measurements against labels you use, if its wrong, use one of the others in the list).

7. click "ok"... box will disappear.

8. click "new docment" on the larger box, which will then disappear, and viola!! a new doc with 30 spaces for labels.

9. SAVE to your desktop.

Cut and paste addresses, then print.

DONT save the addresses - you have the template on your desktop clean and nice ready to go next time.

I've never used eBay's postage label function - it sounds hilarious that it can only print one address label per page. What a joke in today's increasingly green eco world.

What I do is simply copy all the addresses from the PayPal payments, which includes the words "Shipping address:" above each address and paste it into a Word document which has a table (left cell for domestic orders and right cell for international orders). Font size is 18 and the font is Arial Narrow and bolded - works wonderfully.

I tried the snipping and C & P but found the image always came out a tiny bit fuzzy which was enough the PO scanner would not work and I spent ages in the shop while they manually entered all the numbers.

I am happy with getting 2 labels to a sheet of paper, I print one then cut the paper in half and feed the unprinted half into the manual feed slot at the front of my printer.

No way would I use click and send so that I paid far more for postage than the price of a couple of sheets of paper just to print 4 at once..
