global ebay never again

Global postage never again! Today the system tells me they delivered to my home. Well i was home all day and there was no delivery. The tracking system however when accessed says it is on its second delivery centre. It is antique china so this is BAD news. too. I have a PO Box to avoid lost mail and avoid having to travel to collection centres if they deliver when I am not home. And PO Boxes are not acceptable. Still waiting to hear from Ebay if I will receive a text notifying of delivery which Aussie contractors offer and if not where the pick up point is. Very slow to answer which is unusual and a disappointment.

GSP will provide a tracking number, and once it reaches Australia there will be an additiional 'internal carrier' number uploaded onto the site for you to track.

To steer clear of GSP - do what I do - BUY (support) LOCAL - from Austrlalian eBayers.

shopshop. I personally loathe the GSP. If you wish to purchase an item from a Seller that uses it, ask can they send it another way. They most likely will help you out. I now avoid it like the plague.

The GSP is delivered to Australia by FedEx who can not deliver to a PO box.

Sometimes they hand smaller parcels on the Australia Post for delivery.

Ebay will not answer your email.....I doubt that they would have the faintest idea how the system works in practice.

You do not receive any notification of intended delivery. All you will get is a notice if there was a delivery attempt made and no-one was there. FedEx will make 2 delivery attempts before you have to pick up from their depot and you will be told where you have to pick up from.
