Hello I ordered a product as a non loged in customer as at that moment I couldnt remember my log in password

I paid with my pay pal account

The Goods got damaged and I replied to seller and got the goods replaced
But when I get any emails from ebay to close the link fails

with this message on the page that it opens

We couldn't process your request because of a technical issue. Please try again.

it gives me a dead end I found it strange that I couldnt comment and close the case tht the supplyer has replaced the goods and has a good standing so now it may look as if the seller has not replaced the goods.

is there something more I should have done as the seller could not defend them selves.

Perhaps try logging out of eBay, then clicking on the link - as you made the purchase as a non-logged in user, you'd probably need to end the case as a non-logged in user, too.

The case doesn't relate to the ebay account you're posting this question from; if you're logged in, the case link can't lead to where it's supposed to go, as there are no cases associated with this account.
