Outlook Express links not working

Hi All

I used to be able to click a link off an email and it would open my browser to view it. Now nothing happens when I click the link.

I have bitdefender 2012 and WinXP pro.

I don't know if bitdefender is the problem with updates but I have it installed on three computers and the one I use at the radio station for my program had a hic-cup about three weeks ago and wouldn't let me open my radio program up. Had to remove bitdefender and reinstall the radio program to get it to work. They had been working fine together until the updates about the same time.

Not game to update my music computer as the programmes there might not work.

Would just like to get the links working again in Outlook express.

Do you have any kind of pop up blocker on your system? I had problems opening links in Gmail and found that it was my pop up blocker blocking them so I had to put Gmail on the safe list
