I bought 2 batteries for my cordless tools in June 2023. They were sold with 5 years warranty. They are now not at their best, one is not taking charge at all. I have contacted the seller twice but have had no response. What can I do to have the working batteries? Cheers

Unless the seller is an authorised retailer of these batteries there is nothing you can do.

In future you should buy items like this from a reputable B & M store so a warranty can be enforced.

Seller is registered in China, so there is no warranty.

Knock off batteries from China have zero warranty

You and those around you are very very lucky they have not caused any damage, destruction, injury or death

What you can do is dispose both of them appropriately and not take such huge risks buying highly dangerous goods from randoms in China

It is not the same as buying genuine items made in China

It is buying who knows what that was knocked up in a ‘backyard’ warehouse using the cheapest components possible
