I am looking for a radio hand held digital scanner with a simple way of operating. the current ones are too complicated with trunking etc .Does any scanner expert know of any such item.

Not an expert on scanners but I have used Uniden scanners for aircraft and found them simple to use.

(Not digital though) Perhaps google if you haven't.

Have used plenty of analogue scanners but alas this has to be digital as Vic CFA are going to digital . As my local area is rated as one of the most dangerous fire areas in the globe I like to keep abreast of all events.Compare with analogue use most digital scanners are a lot harder to programme
