The current equivalent to hp compaq presario cq62-217ax?

It's served me faithfully for 4 years but now there are HD and screen issues so i want to

buy a new one, but as this suited me so perfectly for my needs I'm trying to find

an equivalent but don't know where to look.

It doesn't have to be HP, Asus has also been

recommended to me .But I'd assume HP still has this model but with a different model no.

I'm not looking to pay more than $500 and will go to a b & m store. .
