Silversmith (Australian?) K V C Help, please?

Has anyone heard about a silversmith with the initials K V C? I'm presuming the mark is Australian as the only other mark is 'SILVER". Other pieces in the group of little trophies and vases I have are hallmarked English pieces, but these are quite different. The date is late 1920s, judging by the hallmarked pieces and the engraving on the trophies.

Any help or suggestions much appreciated, thank you.

I would assume it is not Australian but rather American as Australian silver is marked "STG SILVER" or "STERLING SILVER". The Americans used the term "SILVER".

I don't know if the marks are worn - if they are, the only SLIGHT Oz possibility I can imagine would be K & Co (Melbourne firm Kilpatrick & Co) , which Cavill et al says was taken over by Drummond in 1925. Old stock of course would continue to be sold for many years.

Here's the best photo i can get. The mark is definitely K V C, and the other one says Silver. And yes, it's silver, not plate.
